How the marketplace works

1. Secure bottle custody (handled by Digital Drams)

Before any bottle appears on the marketplace, it is:

• Authenticated by experts
• Professionally stored in a secure, climate-controlled facility
• Fully insured
• Tokenized on blockchain as a single NFT with fractional units

This ensures every asset listed on the marketplace is legitimate, protected, and transparently managed.

2. Browse verified bottles

Users can explore a curated selection of authenticated bottles and fractional assets, with full details such as:

• Bottle origin & distillery
• Year, cask, rarity, official documents
• Fraction supply & price per fraction
• Storage information
• Market activity (offers, listings, bids)

3. Buy fractions

Digital Drams allows users to purchase fractions of a bottle instead of the entire asset.

How it works:

• Select how many fractions you want to purchase
• Review bottle details and fraction price
• Checkout using standard payment methods (no crypto required)
• Your fractions are instantly added to your portfolio

4. Make an offer

If a bottle or fractional asset is listed with a price, users can still propose a different offer — usually lower — instead of purchasing at the listed price.

• You submit a custom offer below or above the current price per fraction set by the seller.
• The seller can accept, decline, or ignore the offer.
• If the seller accepts, the transaction is completed automatically and the fractions are transferred to your portfolio.
• If the seller declines, you receive a notification and no action is required.

5. Trade & sell fractions

Users who own fractions can list them for sale directly from their portfolio.

Listing features include:

• Set your own price per fraction
• Edit or cancel your listing anytime
• Track all offers and bids on your assets
• Manage visibility of your listings in the marketplace

6. Receive offers from other users

Just like you can make offers, other users can make offers on your fractions or your entire fractional position.

You will receive:

• Notifications for new offers
• A dedicated section to review all incoming offers
• Options to accept or decline instantly

7. Full activity transparency

Each bottle includes:

• Price history
• Fraction supply
• Owner activity
• Accepted offers
• Marketplace performance
• Storage status

Makes it easy to understand the bottle's history and current market activity.

8. Redeem the physical bottle

When you own 100% of the fractions, you can request delivery of the physical bottle stored in the Digital Drams vault.

How Redeem Works:

• Redeem unlocks only when you hold all fractions of a bottle
• You request delivery through a dedicated checkout
• Digital Drams prepares, insures, and ships the bottle securely
• The tracking number is added to your Redeem Bottles section
• The bottle's digital token is permanently marked Redeemed

9. Your marketplace dashboard

All user activity is centralized in one place:

• Your fractions
• Your full bottles
• Listings you've created
• Offers you've made
• Redeem bottle requests
• Minted bottles (for sellers)
